What is the V Label Certification?
The V Label is a globally recognized logo that was introduced in Switzerland in 1996 and is accepted in over 30 countries. It was created to meet consumer demands for transparency, making it easier to identify vegan and vegetarian products.
The V-Label certification verifies the following characteristics of a product:
- The origin of raw materials and additives
- The components, additives, and auxiliary substances used at each stage of the production process
- Steps taken to prevent cross-contamination during production
- Animal testing status
- The presence of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) that must be declared
